You might be wondering, " What's the difference? Why do I need both? Can I just use the same thing for both times?" Well, my friend grab your favorite coffee, tea or wine and lets talk about it!

What's the Difference Between your Morning Routine and your Evening Routine?

Mornings are all about starting the day off fresh and energized, and our skincare routine should reflect that. The primary goal of a morning routine is to protect our skin from the environmental factors we encounter throughout the day. So, step one is cleansing. Use a gentle cleanser to wash away any impurities that may have accumulated overnight. It's like hitting the reset button for your face!

Next up, it's time to tone. Toning helps balance the pH levels of your skin and preps it for the upcoming steps. Opt for a toner that suits your skin type, whether it's hydrating, soothing, or clarifying. Some would say you don't need a serum in the morning but i think everyone should use Vitamin C because its full of antioxidants. Then, it's time to moisturize! Choose a lightweight moisturizer. Follow up with SPF to shield your skin from harmful UV rays. Sun protection is crucial, even on cloudy days!

Now let's move on to the evening routine. After a long day, our skin needs some extra love and care. The primary focus of an evening routine is to repair and rejuvenate. Start by removing your make up (if you wear any) with a cleansing oil. Double cleansing is key here, as it ensures all the dirt, oil and debris is thoroughly removed.

Once your face is squeaky clean, its time to exfoliate. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote cell turnover. However, don't over do it! Stick to exfoliating two to three times a week to avoid over exfoliating and irritating your skin. After exfoliating, its time to apply a serum or treatment. These products are packed with powerful ingredients that target specific skin concerns, such as acne, hyperpigmentation, or aging.

Lastly, seal the deal with a nourishing night cream or moisturizer. Night time is when our skin repairs itself, so providing it with the right nutrients is essential. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, retinol or peptides to give your skin that extra boost while you catch some beauty sleep.

Now that we've covered the basics of morning and evening skincare routines, its important to remember that consistency is key. Stick to your routine and your skin will thank you in the long run. And don't forget, everyone's skin is unique, so feel free to tweak your routine to fit your specific needs.

So, whether your a morning person or a night owl, make sure to give your skin the love and attention it deserves. Cheers to healthy, glowing skin all day, everyday!
